scars heal

I’m forgiving you finally for what you did so long ago. You should have known better in your age, but I suppose not all are gifted with foresight. Your bitterness will poison me no longer. You can’t win em’ all but you certainly tried. The wounds you inflicted so long ago have scarred over and, I’m better for it. I can honestly say , “thank you”.

Forgiveness Isn’t my strong suit, but I’m getting better and I have you to thank.
